Just4Me Programs
- These programs are run in various schools, community centres and organizations throughout Waterloo Region. Sexual health education goes far beyond learning about safer sex.
- Our programs aim to increase body awareness and self-esteem, promote healthy relationships by providing practical tools participants will need to navigate difficult situations, conversations and decisions,
- We promote healthy choices and safer sex practices, providing participants with a safe space to ask questions and build friendships.
- We incorporate fun games and activities to facilitate open, honest, nonjudgmental discussions about health, wellness, and sexuality.
- Participants have an opportunity to ask anonymous questions and have a comfortable discussion with trusted adult facilitators.
Just 4 Me programs cover a wide variety of topics such as: puberty, anatomy, body positivity, boundaries, consent, menstruation, understanding masculinity, safer sex, birth control, pregnancy and many more! Each session has a different topic of focus based on participants’ age. See below for more information!
Just4Me – Grade 5 & 6 Program
This program is eight weeks long and is designed for participants between the ages of 10 and 12 (Grades 5 and 6). This program is led by an experienced sexual health educator. Each session has a different focus, incorporating games and activities designed to foster open conversations.

Just4Me – Grade 7 & 8 Program
This program is eight weeks long and is designed for participants between the ages of 13 and 14 (Grades 7 and 8). This program is led by an experienced sexual health educator. Each session has a different focus, incorporating games and activities designed to foster open conversations.

- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
- Sexual Health
- Birth Control/Contraception

Just4Me – Youth Program
This program is four weeks long and is designed for participants between the ages of 15 and 19 (Grades 9-12). This program is led by an experienced sexual health educator. Each session has a different focus, incorporating games and activities designed to foster open conversations.

- Safer sex
- Sexuality

Just4Me – 2SLGBTQIA+ Program
This program is eight weeks long and is designed for participants between the ages of 13 and 18 who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+, queer and/or gender diverse. This program is led by an experienced sexual health educator. Each session has a different focus, incorporating games and activities designed to foster open conversations.
Topics include:
- Healthy relationships
- Consent & Boundaries
- Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)
- Birth Control/Contraception
- Sexual Health
- Menstruation
- Self-identity

How Do I Sign Up?
- We run Just4Me programs in various community centres across the region of Kitchener and Waterloo.
- Participants can enroll through their community centre based on interest and on a first-come, first-serve basis, by their parent/guardian(s).
- Just4Me Grade 5-8 is run in partnership with WRDSB and takes place during school hours. Students must receive permission from parents/guardians to be part of the group.

School Workshop Booking Update
Due to overwhelming demand and decreased capacity, school workshop bookings are now closed for the 2023-2024 school year.

At SHORE Centre, we are committed to providing you with the most accurate information and resources to ensure you make well-informed decisions.
